Crazy lefties at it again.

Read this tasty morsel:

And then have a listen to this.

I am with Rush on this. If I wanted to throw my money away and get nothing in return I might agree that we need to support the President. However, since Obama has decided to be a mindless zealot of liberal, socialist, ideology and is blindly following the advice of his lefty sycophants, then I will not support him. When all of the lefties were spewing hate at Bush, I thought "good for them" it is their right to express their dissent via any forum. I disagree with the open hatred, of course, I am educated, after all. Now, however, rather than simply dissent, the left is insisting that we blindly support "their guy". This crosses the line. Why is hating Obama so much worse than hating Bush? I don't get it it isn't even about hating the guy. Using his name in a sentence that does not end hallelujah seems to call down liberal wrath. For crying out loud, they are both politicians and should therefore BOTH be despised as the contemptible buffoons they are. That said, I will note one key difference between the Obama's and the Bush's is that the Bush family has been serving America, in one form or another, since before the foundation of this great country. The Obama's ... not so much.

Rush is a patriot. His ideas and ideology may not agree with yours, and sometimes mine. So what. Grow up and stop crying because his world view differs from yours. Boo Hoo.

Going down Obama's path is frighteningly similar to the way Hitler, Goebbels and the Nazi's lead Germany down the path to evil and villainy in the 1930's.

First, change the common vernacular so that only your point of view can effectively be communicated. Politically correct speech anyone? The PC "I am am a recognized minority group so I can use certain word you can't" is garbage folks.
Second, ally and mobilize the youth to be educated to only your point of view. Give them a new religion, non secular preferably ( we don't want no "higher power" peeps meesing with the "agenda"). Climate change fits nicely here.
Third, create a societal mechanisms where the populace must depend on the government for all essential needs. Bailouts and nationalizing health care fit here quite well, along with welfare etc ...
Fourth, silence, ridicule or disparage anyone who disagrees or opines in the negative with regards to the "agenda" or the man whose aganda it is, for that matter .
Fifth, when the dissenters can't be converted or silenced, arrest them and send them to re-education facilities. Any college campus in America will do the job for an exorbitant fee. Arrest isn't really neccesary in the 21st century.

I know "the Nazi analogy" is an all to often used device, however, it being the most relevant example from our near history it is relevant as comparison, if for no other reason than the period is fairly well known and evokes strong emotions and opinions.

We should remember, the German people were not all evil goosestepping murderers. However, as a group they silently consented. Why? How? I think they were slowly intoxicated. By what you might ask? By a charismatic leader who promised Change!! That answer will be disturbing to many. They were intoxicated by a charismatic leader who promised Change. A leader who eloquently and authoritatively called for a restoration, if you will, of Germany's ascendancy to it's former and deserved glory on the World stage.

This does not bode well for Americans who still embrace our history and heritage as things that have made us great. Not all was pretty and some was very ugly. Interestingly most of the really awful stuff happened under the helm of a Democrat President. Truman dropping the atom bomb springs readily to mind. Many people don't realize that the the big opponents to the Civil Rights movement in America were democratic politicians. In fact a well known democrat, Robert Byrd, was a member of the Ku Klux Clan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Byrd) The highly esteemed JFK laid the groundwork for the Vietnam War. I could go on and on.

The long and short is ... As a citizen of this planet, strive to be a good student. Educate YOURSELF. Find the truth, just don't swallow whatever you see or hear at school or on TV or from your parents because it is popular or mainstream or, God forbid, TRENDY. Be an independent thinker and be FREE. The MEANING OF LIFE is simple ... To learn. There is nothing more or less important and I believe it is the true mandate for humanity. And remember, the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything is ... 42. (Bad Joke)

Well I've made the leap.

I have finally decided to get on the Blog Bandwagon.A new victim for my prognostications is required. My poor wife has been subjected to my rantings for far to long and now my attention has turned to ... You ... the poor soul who has stumbled upon my Blog.

I am sure most of what I have to say and much of my commentary will be hair raising to most, repugnant to some, and (hopefully) thought provoking to a few.

I will now attempt to wrap my head around this new (for me) medium and once fully understood, I will fully engage and disseminate observations, opinions and point of view that, I believe some may share, a few will fear and most will hate :)

That is all ...For now.
